BTCCSquare news:

Institutional trading infrastructure firm Talos has raised $45 million in a Series B extension, bringing total funding to $150 million. The round elevates its valuation to $1.5 billion, reflecting growing institutional demand for crypto market infrastructure. Strategic investors including Robinhood Markets, Sony Innovation Fund, and Fidelity Investments participated—marking continued confidence following Talos' $105 million raise in May 2022.

Notably, portions of the investment were settled via stablecoins, signaling broader adoption of on-chain settlement mechanisms in traditional finance. The MOVE aligns with Talos' expansion strategy as institutional crypto adoption accelerates. Previous backers like a16z Crypto and BNY Mellon doubled down, while new capital from trading firms IMC and QCP underscores cross-sector interest.
